Aim
This new course has been designed in response to the growing demand in Scotland's Biotechnology sector for technically skilled scientists who can work to agreed standards. Throughout the programme you will focus on molecular techniques employed by companies in the Biotechnology field, in particular those working in drug development.

2nd/3rd year entry of a BSc Honours degree at many Scottish universities. Once in employment students can continue to study on a part-time day release basis to obtain membership of the Institute of Biology.
