[edit] Guidance Notes

Identifier: Institutions offering a number of routes to a particular qualification should also consider using a resolvable url as a qualification identifier.

Title: A title is strongly recommended.

Absence of accrediting/awarding organisation: Where an accrediting and/or awarding organisation is not specified, aggregators SHOULD interpret this as meaning that the provider accredits and/or awards the qualification.

Recstatus: If the recstatus attribute is used, it should be used in conjunction with an identifier.

Level: Where national frameworks exist, for example the FHEQ, it is recommended that the appropriate national framework level is used.
