The Reliable Feed Location Pattern assists aggregators in locating XCRI feeds by having providers place their XCRI feeds at a reliable address, e.g. 

http://www.example.ac.uk/xcri/

If it is not possible for a provider to use this URL for a feed, then they should place a document at that location with a redirect, or a document containing a link using the Feed autodiscovery pattern.
